What Is a Burger King Validation Code?
A Burger King validation code is a special code you receive after completing a customer satisfaction survey. This code can be used to redeem rewards like a free Whopper or other menu items during your next visit. It’s Burger King’s way of thanking you for providing feedback about your experience.
How to Get Your Validation Code
- Find Your Receipt
After your visit to Burger King, keep your receipt. It contains important information needed to take the survey, including the restaurant number and a unique survey code. - Take the Survey
Visit the official Burger King survey website on your phone or computer. You’ll be asked to enter the restaurant number and the survey code found on your receipt. - Answer Survey Questions
The survey usually asks about your recent visit, focusing on areas like food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and overall satisfaction. - Receive Your Validation Code
After completing the survey, a unique validation code will be displayed. Write this code on your receipt.
How to Redeem Your Validation Code
- Bring the receipt with the validation code to any participating Burger King restaurant.
- Present it to the cashier or staff to claim your reward, such as a free Whopper sandwich or other promotional item.
- Be aware that some locations may require a minimum purchase, often a regular-sized fries and drink, to redeem the offer.
Important Things to Remember
- Time Limit: The validation code is usually valid for about 30 days from the time you complete the survey.
- One Code Per Month: Most customers can only participate and redeem a validation code once per calendar month.
- Keep Your Receipt: Without the original receipt and code, you cannot claim the free item.
Why Participate?
Taking the survey not only earns you tasty rewards but also helps Burger King improve its service and menu offerings. It’s a win-win!

Burger King, often abbreviated as BK, is a global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants headquartered in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The company began in 1953 as Insta-Burger King, a Jacksonville, Florida-based restaurant chain. After Insta-Burger King ran into financial difficulties in 1954, its two Miami-based franchisees, David Edgerton and James McLamore, purchased the company and renamed it Burger King. Over the next half century, the company would change hands four times, with its third set of owners, a partnership of TPG Capital, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, taking it public in 2002. In late 2010, 3G Capital of Brazil acquired a majority stake in BK in a deal valued at US$3.26 billion. The new owners promptly initiated a restructuring of the company to reverse its fortunes. 3G, along with partner Berkshire Hathaway, eventually merged the company with Canadian-based doughnut chain Tim Hortons under the auspices of a new Canadian-based parent company, Restaurant Brands International.
